The purpose is to facilitate delivery of dental services by assisting the dentists with direct patient care (infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric) and the day to day operation of the Dental Clinic.
Hires, trains, supervises, and maintains certification records for dental assistants. Initiates ongoing performance improvement activities and develops processes for workflow efficiencies for dental assistants. Is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities and duties of the dental assistants, provides staff training, and completes annual performance evaluations. Works in full capacity as a dental assistant during the day-to-day operation of the dental clinic.

The Clinical Assistant provides care to infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, adults and elderly in an ambulatory care clinic. This position is essential in maintaining efficient clinic operations and patient flow in order to maximize the provider’s time and to insure access to care. Clinical Assistants perform administrative duties, data management and handle basic clinical tasks. This information is recorded in patients’ chart along with patient’s medical history. This position works closely with providers giving support such as rooming patients, performing Point of Care Testing (POCT), start and administer IV fluids and provide immunizations and other injections within the scope of practice certification, ECC monitoring and defibrillation, answering phones, processing provider orders data entry and participation in training processes. Must be able to make independent decisions within scope of practice based on experience and good judgment and be self-starting and require little guidance to keep busy.

Salary - $25-32 per hour depending on experience and licensure.

Surgical specialties include: General surgery on adult and pediatric patients, Endoscopy, Otolaryngology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Urology, Dental, Plastic and Vascular.
The Surgical Technologist is an integral part of a team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients in a variety of settings. The main function of the tech is fulfilling the role of an assistant to the surgeon. The surgeon relies heavily on the tech to do their job correctly including following sterilization procedures while also being able to handle requests that are made during the surgery.
Salary: $27.89-$37.00 per hour, DOE
