This position provides a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy to any and all clients from birth to elder. This position also provides clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis intervention; as well as acts as a liaison with other agencies as required. This position is a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provides regular clinical supervision, ensures proper maintenance of clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established SEARHC policies and procedures. A clinician ensures that clinical productivity standards as established and followed. This position is available for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis when needed and as assigned; in addition to providing clinical support in person or by phone as needed at any SEARHC location within the Behavioral Health Division.
There is no specific responsibility to managing an operating budget. As a clinician the financial responsibilities lie in documenting all services as outlined first and foremost in the code of ethics of the profession. Clinicians maintain records necessary for rendering professional services to their clients and as required by laws, regulations, or agency or institution procedures. Clinicians include sufficient and timely documentation in their client records to facilitate the delivery and continuity of needed services. Clinicians take reasonable steps to ensure that documentation in records accurately reflects client progress and services provided. If errors are made in client records, clinicians take steps to properly note the correction of such errors according to agency or institutional policies, proper documentation is a requirement to ensure that SEARHC is able to bill accurately for services provided to client in accordance with state, federal, and insurance rules, laws and regulations. This position is a covered position in accordance with the Indian Child Protection Act (ICPA).

The Assistant Nurse Manager/RN position is a developmental mentorship opportunity for an experienced RN to work in an entry level nurse management position and elevate thier career here at SEARHC. This position will work in an assistant management role for 0.6 of their time and as a clinical nurse on inpaitient for 0.4 of their time. This role will assist the nurse manager in a variety of management functions including but not limited to the supervision of staff, meeting management, scheduling, and point of care training. As an RN, this position will perform a variety of nursing care procedures for patients of all ages, requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient condidtions and treatments; and the ability to work independently in completing assignments. Guidelines include implementing provider's orders; standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, hospital policies, and nursing duties including support to individuals of all ages and thier families.
Clinical decisions are made independently during the scheduled shift and maintains complete accountabilities for all actions taken. Consults with the appropriate manager/supervisor and/or ancillary department in difficult situations requiring additional implut of resources. Performs the primary function of a Sterile Processing Technician Supervisor in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating proper decontamination and sterilization of instrumentation and hospital equipment as well as, preparing and maintaining departmental reports and records. The Sterile Processing Supervisor shall oversee and guide Sterile Processing Technicians that are under his / her supervision in department. He / She will be responsible for interacting with hospital staff and / or ancillary departments regarding decontamination / sterilization concerns, and conflicts by identifying and assisting in the resolutions. The Sterile Processing Supervisor routinely works weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and/or on an on-call/call-back status.

CA III must process provider orders pertaining to diagnostic tests, referrals and other patient data that involves non-routine problems, timely and accurately.

This postion also performs additional clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluation, case management, and crisis intervention; as well as acts as a liaison with other agencies as required for continuity of care. This position is a memeber of an interdisciplinary treatment team and ensures proper timely documentation and maintenance of clinical records in accordance with established SEARHC policies and procedures and insurance billing requirements. The clinican ensures that established productivity standards are followed and maintained. Where applicable, based upon location, this position is available for after-hours in person crisis interventions.

Responsibilities include the integration of safety and other relevant regulations, and 24/7 oversight of incident and event response.

The Financial Counselor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in assisting patients who require assistance in financial needs (Charity Care, governmental funding programs) and/or assistance in establishing payment options. In addition, the financial councilor can refer patients to the health benefits team for assistance with third party payers including Medicaid, Medicare, Denali Kid Care, VA, Federal Insurance Marketplace, and Sliding Discount. Responsible for clarifying with patient’s their Explanations of Benefits (EOB) and assisting them with resolving issues and/or concerns they have. Interviews and provides financial education to all patients regarding payor information and insurance benefits. Provides insurance verification accurately, calculates patient liability, and collects and/or secure appropriate payment arrangements.
