Oversee front desk operations including patient registration, patient check-in and check-out, answering the clinic phone line, training and supervising Patient Access Representatives and Referral Care Coordinators, conducting project work, and development and maintenance of provider schedules.

health outcomes. The RN Diabetes Case Manager and Educator assists with maintaining a formal comprehensive diabetes education program.
The Sonographer must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients’ service on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s/area/department’s policies and procedures.
Under general direction, administers designs, develops, implements, delivers, and measures the effectiveness of electronic health record orientations and trainings for SEARHC.

The Financial Counselor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in assisting patients who require assistance in financial needs (Charity Care, governmental funding programs) and/or assistance in establishing payment options. In addition, the financial counselor can refer patients to the health benefits team for assistance with third party payers including Medicaid, Medicare, Denali Kid Care, VA, Federal Insurance Marketplace, and Sliding Discount. Responsible for clarifying with patient’s their Explanations of Benefits (EOB) and assisting them with resolving issues and/or concerns they have. Interviews and provides financial education to all patients regarding payor information and insurance benefits. Provides insurance verification accurately, calculates patient liability, and collects and/or secure appropriate payment arrangements.
Pay range $25.99 to $32.73 per hour, DOE.

The General Accountant is responsible for coalition wide accounting and reporting for Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) and its subsidiaries. The position provides general support for all financial audits, as well as general accounting support and projects as assigned. The General Accountant will leverage their expertise to streamline processes & procedures, enhance value to the Consortium through enhanced productivity, reductions in procurement costs and the reduction/elimination of non-value-added activities. This role will support aspects of the annual budget and financial reporting.
Externally, develops strong, values-based relationships with external auditors, reimbursement consultants, bank representatives, investment advisors, actuaries, and other financial advisors, vendors, community affiliations, tribal organizations, consultants and other resource and health care providers.
Internally has Consortiumâwide impact on budget creation and execution, financial policy direction, reporting, and regulatory interpretation. This position interacts with the SEARHC Boards of Directors, all levels of leaders and employees.

Assists in planning and implementing evidence-based and promising health education strategies, interventions, and programs as well as serves as a health education resource.
