Great full-time role in Wrangell, Alaska!  Wrangell Medical Center offers a great work environment and great pay!   $25K Sign on bonus and $10K Relocation Bonus!  Apply with us today!   This position will be based in one of the SEARHC Rehabilitation Services settings (hospital, outpatient clinic or home health) and will have a varied focus depending on the location and the local need.  The primary focus will be to provide general Physical Therapy (PT) evaluations and treatments which impact patient’s functional abilities.  Physical therapy is a core service provided by this healthcare organization.  The therapist performs in a professional manner, respects confidentiality, and demonstrates qualities endorsed by following the Seven Standards for Service Excellence outlined in the SEARHC Human Resources Manual.   Services are to be provided in compliance with hospital standards, licensure requirements, regulatory and practice standards of Physical Therapy and the national professional guidelines established by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).   Physical therapists are health care professionals responsible and accountable for patient assessment, evaluation, establishing a plan of care and theraputic interventions for a wide range of ages with widely varying diagnoses and skills needs who present with a full spectrum of movement abilities, dysfunctions and complexities.  The clinician needs to be able to inform clinical teams regarding decisions that involve physical therapy while taking into consideration consultation provided by other care providers. As patients are seen, recommendations may be made regarding their level of independence and rehabilitation needs which may impact services, care placement and further treatment.  The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for the contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.  Documenting standards must be followed for continuity of care and reimbursement for services. The position may require occasional travel off site and out of town to provide services or cover for providers in other SEARHC facilities.   Salary $87,000-$110,000 Depending on experience plus a $10,000 Geographical Differential Annually! $25K Sign on Bonus $10K Relocation Bonus

Perform radiographic exams, including Computed Tomography (CT) and radiography, works independently in performing these modalities.  Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other technologists to improve patient care.  Provides call services on a rotational basis.  Apply previous computer experience to new applications for imaging and record keeping.  May be required to travel to provide services at clinics throughout the Consortium. Understand that inadequate communication with the patient, provider, and radiologist can adversely affect patient health.  Creatively works with other SEARHC staff to solve problems.   This position would travel to other communities to provide coverage as needed.   $25,000 Sign-On Bonus, $10,000 Relocation Bonus, and an additional $10,000/Year Geographic Differential pay for Wrangell.

Work at our 16 bed LTC center, providing excellent care for our residents!  Night shift opening!     Coordinates a variety of nursing care procedures for residents of various ages which requires professional knowledge and consideration of specific resident conditions and treatment. Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the long term care setting.  Guidelines include physician’s orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, manuals, hospital and long-term care policies.   Clinical decisions are made initially independently during the scheduled shift; maintains complete accountability for all actions taken.  Consults with the appropriate manager/supervisor in difficult situations requiring additional input. Able to react in a calm manner and make sound nursing judgments in an emergency environment.  Accountable for proper delegation and supervision of CNA/Tech, LPN, and/or Ward Clerk on unit during shift.
