This position provides a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy to any and all clients from birth to elder. This position also provides clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis intervention; as well as acts as a liaison with other agencies as required. This position is a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provides regular clinical supervision, ensures proper maintenance of clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established SEARHC policies and procedures. A clinician ensures that clinical productivity standards as established and followed. This position is available for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis when needed and as assigned; in addition to providing clinical support in person or by phone as needed at any SEARHC location within the Behavioral Health Division.   There is no specific responsibility to managing an operating budget.  As a clinician the financial responsibilities lie in documenting all services as outlined first and foremost in the code of ethics of the profession. Clinicians maintain records necessary for rendering professional services to their clients and as required by laws, regulations, or agency or institution procedures. Clinicians include sufficient and timely documentation in their client records to facilitate the delivery and continuity of needed services. Clinicians take reasonable steps to ensure that documentation in records accurately reflects client progress and services provided. If errors are made in client records, clinicians take steps to properly note the correction of such errors according to agency or institutional policies, proper documentation is a requirement to ensure that SEARHC is able to bill accurately for services provided to client in accordance with state, federal, and insurance rules, laws and regulations.   This position is a covered position in accordance with the Indian Child Protection Act (ICPA).

The Clinical Assistant-III performs all of the job duties of the Clinical Assistant II, in addition the Clinical Assistant-III applies a more extensive knowledge of medical practice and terminology and judgment based on greater clinical experience. The more technical duties of the Clinical Assistant III require a higher level of training, competency or specific certification. The CAIII is responsible for processing provider orders pertaining to diagnostic tests, referrals and other patient data that involves non-routine problems, timely and accurately.   The Clinical Assistant III provides care to infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, adults and elderly in a rural ambulatory care clinic. This position is essential in maintaining efficient clinic operations and patient flow in order to maximize the provider’s time and to insure access to care. Clinical Assistants (CA) perform administrative duties, data management and handle basic clinical tasks.  This information is written in patients’ chart along with patients’ medical history.  This CAIII works closely with providers giving support and performing essential duties such as rooming patients, performing clinical tasks including CLIA-waived laboratory testing, quality assurance activities and taking x-rays, start and administer IV fluids within the scope of practice certification, ECC monitoring and defibrillation, maintaining the lab and exam rooms, demonstrates excellent customer service skills.   The CA assists in answering phones, processing provider orders, data entry, and participation in training processes.  Must be able to make independent decisions within scope of practice based on experience and good judgment and be self-starting, and require little guidance to keep busy.   This position is responsible for leading Clinical Assistant I and Clinical Assistant II positions.

This position is responsible for administrative support of the Integrated Care Teams.  The Primary Care integrated care teams (ICT) consist of a Provider, a RN Case Manager, a Certified Medical Assistant/LPN and an ICT Coordinator. This integrated team has the opportunity to build relationship with patients over time to address their preventive, acute and chronic health care needs which results in a high continuity of care and interdisciplinary team work.   This position is responsible for all clerical duties, scheduling tasks and support of team Case Manager as assigned.  Each Integrated Care Team will serve a population of approximately 900 – 1, 200 patients.   This position will work closely with the Case Managers in order to meet the daily demand of patient requests and needs that occur outside of a provider visit.   This position requires the ability to answer, screen and assist with sensitive patient phone calls.  This position requires close, collaborative interfacing among all members of the Integrated Care Team.  This position requires excellent organizational and prioritizing skills to work in a fast paced environment supporting all team members in coordinating care of the patient population.

Responsible to assist the Director of Supply Chain and Accounts Payable (hereafter Director) with coordinating the daily operations and functions of current contractor for third-party travel management (TPTM), and high-touch, concierge-level staff travel (example, Board of Directors travel planning, etc.) Manages customer relations and responds to inquiries from internal and external customers as required.  Assists the Director with review and research of travel related, vendor pricing, and contract terms.  Trains and on-boards new users on TPTM system. Is responsible for management and effectiveness of the Staff Travel programs. Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff travel coordinator(s) for onboarding, performance, and improvements as needed.   The Lead Staff Travel Coordinator works at a general supervisory level with directional management from the Director, while exercising primary responsibility for consortium-wide Staff Travel reporting and planning. Works with TPTM and the field of travel and hospitality vendors to make detailed and accurate decisions based on the travelers scheduled needs for airfare, lodging and car rental. Must be able to make work independently and make sound judgement calls. Some light travel expected as required to support the staff travel program throughout the consortium. Mental fatigue may exist with high level of concentration necessary to properly process/reconcile travel orders, and Staff Travel department P-Cards, for payment being accurate and timely. Will work under strict deadlines and stressful conditions.

Depending on location shift work and night and weekend call may be required to provide 24 hour laboratory coverage.  Perform CLIA defined waived, moderate, and high complexity testing. Works with infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.   The work typically involves full responsibility for all technical aspects of the laboratory and includes a wide variety of duties involving diverse and complex technical problems and considerations, i.e. procuring compatible, lifesaving units of blood for a patient with antibodies. MLT makes decisions that directly or indirectly affect the quality of patient care and can be “life or death” decisions or problems with the assistance of the MLS or Lab Manager. Assists with training of new employees during the orientation period and as directed. Assists the laboratory manager with Process Improvement activities associated with their departments as directed. Understands and assists the Laboratory Manager with implementing CAP standards and CLIA regulations in their department of responsibility. Coordinates inventory levels with laboratory manager to maintain proper supply levels. Follows policy and procedures established by the Laboratory Medical Director and the Lab Manager.
