This position provides a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy to any and all clients from birth to elder. This position also provides clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis intervention; as well as acts as a liaison with other agencies as required. This position is a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provides regular clinical supervision, ensures proper maintenance of clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established SEARHC policies and procedures. A clinician ensures that clinical productivity standards as established and followed. This position is available for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis when needed and as assigned; in addition to providing clinical support in person or by phone as needed at any SEARHC location within the Behavioral Health Division.   There is no specific responsibility to managing an operating budget.  As a clinician the financial responsibilities lie in documenting all services as outlined first and foremost in the code of ethics of the profession. Clinicians maintain records necessary for rendering professional services to their clients and as required by laws, regulations, or agency or institution procedures. Clinicians include sufficient and timely documentation in their client records to facilitate the delivery and continuity of needed services. Clinicians take reasonable steps to ensure that documentation in records accurately reflects client progress and services provided. If errors are made in client records, clinicians take steps to properly note the correction of such errors according to agency or institutional policies, proper documentation is a requirement to ensure that SEARHC is able to bill accurately for services provided to client in accordance with state, federal, and insurance rules, laws and regulations.   This position is a covered position in accordance with the Indian Child Protection Act (ICPA).

The Clinical Assistant-III performs all of the job duties of the Clinical Assistant II, in addition the Clinical Assistant-III applies a more extensive knowledge of medical practice and terminology and judgment based on greater clinical experience. The CAIII is responsible for processing provider orders pertaining to diagnostic tests, referrals and other patient data that involves non-routine problems, timely and accurately.   The Clinical Assistant III provides care to infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, adults and elderly in a rural ambulatory care clinic. This position is essential in maintaining efficient clinic operations and patient flow in order to maximize the provider’s time and to insure access to care. Clinical Assistants (CA) perform administrative duties, data management and handle basic clinical tasks.  This information is written in patients’ chart along with patients’ medical history.  This CAIII works closely with providers giving support and performing essential duties such as rooming patients, performing clinical tasks including CLIA-waived laboratory testing, quality assurance activities and taking x-rays, start and administer IV fluids within the scope of practice certification, ECC monitoring and defibrillation, maintaining the lab and exam rooms, demonstrates excellent customer service skills.   The CA assists in answering phones, processing provider orders, data entry, and participation in training processes.  Must be able to make independent decisions within scope of practice based on experience and good judgment and be self-starting, and require little guidance to keep busy.   This position is responsible for leading Clinical Assistant I and Clinical Assistant II positions.

The Drug Procurement Optimization Analyst will review Financial aspects of medication-related supply chain to assure best available contract pricing, access to special pricing and spot buys, efficient inventory management,  vendor management, group purchasing organization (GPO), IHS, and wholesaler relationships, standardization, supply-chain related information systems and technology, and monthly variance reporting related to drug costs and budget. They must have a thorough understanding of supply chain and Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) best practices. Additionally, they will service as the primary contact within pharmacy for the Finance Team. The management of supply chain is critical to the success of SEARHC in ensuring that we supply the right product to our patients at the right time. The Drug Procurement Optimization Analyst will report to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain and AP, and work collaborative with Pharmacy Director and other clinical leaders in the areas of drug availability, and best available pricing structures through various procurement models.   The Drug Procurement Optimization Analyst will directly manage the inventory management and mitigation of medication shortages by leveraging technology and predictive ordering processes. Additional areas of oversight include automation related to pharmacy stockroom inventory management, pharmaceutical contracting and GPO optimization activities, evaluation of outsourcing needs for high-risk compounded sterile products, and ensuring compliance with DSCSA provisions. In addition to supply chain functions, the Drug Procurement Optimization Analyst will oversee the pharmacy’s obligations in the order-to-pay process and will work closely with finance to assure the process is completed in an accurate and timely fashion.   Responsibilities include the analysis, identification and implementation of opportunities to improve quality, cost, and productivity within all aspects of department and health-system medication supply chain.
