This position provides a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy to any and all clients from birth to elder. This position also provides clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis intervention; as well as acts as a liaison with other agencies as required. This position is a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provides regular clinical supervision, ensures proper maintenance of clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established SEARHC policies and procedures. A clinician ensures that clinical productivity standards as established and followed. This position is available for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis when needed and as assigned; in addition to providing clinical support in person or by phone as needed at any SEARHC location within the Behavioral Health Division.   There is no specific responsibility to managing an operating budget.  As a clinician the financial responsibilities lie in documenting all services as outlined first and foremost in the code of ethics of the profession. Clinicians maintain records necessary for rendering professional services to their clients and as required by laws, regulations, or agency or institution procedures. Clinicians include sufficient and timely documentation in their client records to facilitate the delivery and continuity of needed services. Clinicians take reasonable steps to ensure that documentation in records accurately reflects client progress and services provided. If errors are made in client records, clinicians take steps to properly note the correction of such errors according to agency or institutional policies, proper documentation is a requirement to ensure that SEARHC is able to bill accurately for services provided to client in accordance with state, federal, and insurance rules, laws and regulations.   This position is a covered position in accordance with the Indian Child Protection Act (ICPA).

The Lead Information Technology Specialist assists the Director of Technical Support Services with the operational management and support of Consortium information technology users and endpoint technologies. The role will supervise the activities of Technical Support Technicians assigned to them in the completion of service-related tasks. Position will plan, organize, and schedule the day-to-day support operations of their team, as well as tracking open customer service issues through to closure.   These activities include assigning, supporting and providing direction to other Technical Specialists in collaboration with the Director of Technical Support Services and the Chief Information Officer. Manage tier 2 support requests which require an advanced level of technical expertise. Assist with development, deployment and enforcement of technical policies and procedures. Consult with vendors for support, quote, and licensing issues.   Provide proper configuration of endpoints, point-of-use, and other computing technologies and software, without disrupting business processes and patient care/medical services. Recommend new software and hardware to meet organization’s business processes and vendor’s technical specifications. Resolve advanced level support requests. Provide proper documentation and direction to transfer knowledge to other staff.  This position exercises lead over PC Technicians.

This position functions within the pharmacy department at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium to provide technical support to the pharmacists and the Department of Pharmacy Services. The work requires specialized knowledge, experience and skills to perform the technical work of a pharmacy and a thorough knowledge of the routine and procedures of the pharmacy department. The purpose of this position involves the preparation, review, supply, dispensing and control of medications and other pharmaceutical products. The position is essential to ensure all patients, departments and villages receive the medications they need and store them properly.  All work is performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Performs in a professional manner, respects confidentiality, and demonstrates qualities endorsed by following the seven Standards for Service Excellence outlined in the SEARHC Human Resources Manual.   Technicians must be able to interact with patients, nurses, health aids and practitioners to answer questions related to pharmacy services. They must know when to refer questions to a pharmacist and when to answer the question themselves. Must perform dosage calculations in order to correctly prepare compounded medications and be able to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. Must be able to maintain pharmacy equipment and troubleshoot problems. Must know how to meet the urgent needs of patient care areas, monitor and maintain stock.   This position requires handling of hazardous substances, standing for extended periods of time, usually 8 hours; walking to deliver medications all over the building and to pick up orders, lifting 30 lbs boxes.  There is potential for exposure to infectious patients or materials, sticks or cuts by needles and other sharp items, musculoskeletal injuries and potential for harm from burglary or robbery.  This position is a covered position for purposes of the Indian Child Protection Act.
