This position provides a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy to any and all clients from birth to elder. This position also provides clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis intervention; as well as acts as a liaison with other agencies as required. This position is a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provides regular clinical supervision, ensures proper maintenance of clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established SEARHC policies and procedures. A clinician ensures that clinical productivity standards as established and followed. This position is available for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis when needed and as assigned; in addition to providing clinical support in person or by phone as needed at any SEARHC location within the Behavioral Health Division.   There is no specific responsibility to managing an operating budget.  As a clinician the financial responsibilities lie in documenting all services as outlined first and foremost in the code of ethics of the profession. Clinicians maintain records necessary for rendering professional services to their clients and as required by laws, regulations, or agency or institution procedures. Clinicians include sufficient and timely documentation in their client records to facilitate the delivery and continuity of needed services. Clinicians take reasonable steps to ensure that documentation in records accurately reflects client progress and services provided. If errors are made in client records, clinicians take steps to properly note the correction of such errors according to agency or institutional policies, proper documentation is a requirement to ensure that SEARHC is able to bill accurately for services provided to client in accordance with state, federal, and insurance rules, laws and regulations.   This position is a covered position in accordance with the Indian Child Protection Act (ICPA).

This position functions within the pharmacy department at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium to provide technical support to the pharmacists and the Department of Pharmacy Services. The work requires specialized knowledge, experience and skills to perform the technical work of a pharmacy and a thorough knowledge of the routine and procedures of the pharmacy department. The purpose of this position involves the preparation, review, supply, dispensing and control of medications and other pharmaceutical products. The position is essential to ensure all patients, departments and villages receive the medications they need and store them properly.  All work is performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Performs in a professional manner, respects confidentiality, and demonstrates qualities endorsed by following the seven Standards for Service Excellence outlined in the SEARHC Human Resources Manual.   Technicians must be able to interact with patients, nurses, health aids and practitioners to answer questions related to pharmacy services. They must know when to refer questions to a pharmacist and when to answer the question themselves. Must perform dosage calculations in order to correctly prepare compounded medications and be able to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. Must be able to maintain pharmacy equipment and troubleshoot problems. Must know how to meet the urgent needs of patient care areas, monitor and maintain stock.   This position requires handling of hazardous substances, standing for extended periods of time, usually 8 hours; walking to deliver medications all over the building and to pick up orders, lifting 30 lbs boxes.  There is potential for exposure to infectious patients or materials, sticks or cuts by needles and other sharp items, musculoskeletal injuries and potential for harm from burglary or robbery.  This position is a covered position for purposes of the Indian Child Protection Act.

This position supports rehabilitation services providers in their care of SEARHC patients by facilitating patient flow within the rehabilitation department.  Responsibilities include ensuring the clinic space and individual treatment rooms are clean and well stocked, assisting providers with transitioning patients in the clinic, and assisting as directed with therapeutic exercise and other modality treatments. Responsibilities may additionally include assisting the office staff as directed by answering telephones, scheduling appointments, completing patient registration, and checking patients in. Rehabilitation Services is a core service provided by SEARHC.  The performance of this department has a direct and significant impact on the health, function and well-being of patients. Employee is required at all times to perform their duties in a professional manner, respect confidentiality, and demonstrate qualities consistent with the seven Standards for Service Excellence outlined in the SEARHC Human Resources Manual.   This position is required to multi-task while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
