    Job Overview:

    To provide administrative and secretarial support to The Chief Information Officer. This assistance includes all communications that involve The Chief Information Officer and coordination of various special projects.


    • Provide administrative support to The Chief Information Officer as it relates to interacting with the Vice Presidents, Division Directors, corporate professional staff, supervisors, department heads and other agencies/entities. Receive and review all incoming correspondence.  Responsible for preparation and accuracy of relevant outgoing correspondence and documents.  Develop, implement and maintain appropriate records and files.  Coordinate travel arrangements for members of the Information Technology staff. Disseminate the Chief Information Officer’s schedule to other operations department directors weekly. Assists in the distribution of reports, agendas, and minutes.
    • Complete special projects as assigned by the Chief Information Officer. Projects may involve investigation, research, and collection of dat Compile data and formulate conclusion into appropriate presentation for the Chief Information Officer. Examples of projects include; operational reports, business plans, financial data, human resources management.
    • Monitor any clerical and temporary staff assigned to the Chief Information Officer including recruitment, workload management, scheduling, training, performance reviews and discipline.
    • Attend meetings as directed by the Chief Information Officer to record minutes of the meetings and to collect and disseminate applicable informatio Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration or other related field.  Relevant work experience may be exchanged for a degree.


    • 2 years office experience working as executive assistant or equivalent position demonstrating an understanding of advanced office functions including computer word processing and spreadsheet applications.
